Academic Work Standards

To ensure uniformity, legibility, and academic rigor, the following guidelines must be followed by all students in maintaining their classwork and homework:

📘 Academic Guidelines

  • Use clean hands and maintain hygiene before handling books and notebooks.
  • Sit in the correct posture and write neatly and legibly.
  • Use only blue or black ink pens (for seniors) or pencils (for juniors). Overwriting and untidy writing are not acceptable.
  • Correction pens or whiteners are not allowed. Errors should be struck through with a single line if correction is necessary.
  • Each new chapter or lesson must start on a fresh page with the date written in the margin.
  • Headings and titles must be written in BLOCK or capital letters for clarity.
  • Proper numbering of questions and answers must be maintained. Margins should be drawn in unruled notebooks.
  • Diagrams and sketches must be done in pencil only. Use a good-quality ruler to draw lines — free-hand lines are not allowed.
  • Students must not scribble or decorate the pages or edges of their notebooks.
  • A bookmark must be used when submitting notebooks for correction to ensure organized evaluation.

These uniform and academic standards are part of our ongoing efforts to cultivate habits of discipline, attention to detail, and self-respect in students. Parents are requested to reinforce these practices at home for consistency.
