Rules and Regulations
At Shree Maruthi Global Academy (CBSE), discipline, punctuality, and decorum form the foundation of our learning environment. Our rules and regulations are designed to promote safety, respect, responsibility, and academic commitment. All students and parents are expected to follow these norms to ensure a smooth and harmonious school experience.
- All students must attend school regularly and be punctual.
- Attendance at the morning assembly is compulsory for all students.
- Students must maintain discipline within and outside the classroom.
- Misbehavior, disobedience, or disrespect towards staff or peers will not be tolerated.
- Students are expected to be courteous, honest, and respectful at all times.
- Students must wear the prescribed school uniform neatly and properly every day.
- Boys must keep their hair short and well-trimmed.
- Girls must tie their hair neatly and wear minimal accessories.
- Personal hygiene and cleanliness must be maintained by all students.
- Wearing gold ornaments is strictly prohibited.
- Minimum attendance of 90% is mandatory to appear in examinations.
- Students must bring a leave letter signed by parents for any absence.
- After 10 days of continuous absence without written permission, the student’s name will be removed from the attendance register.
- Re-admission is subject to the discretion of the principal and availability of seats.
- Students must bring their handbook and required materials to school daily.
- It is the responsibility of parents to ensure their children complete homework regularly.
- Students must write neatly and legibly, using correct posture.
- Correction pens and scribbling in notebooks are strictly not allowed.
- Each lesson should begin on a new page with a clear heading and date.
- Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones, gadgets, or valuables to school.
- Leaving the campus during school hours without prior permission is not allowed.
- Use of abusive language, bullying, or involvement in physical fights will result in disciplinary action.
- Defacing walls, desks, or school property is considered a serious offense.
- Parents must not meet teachers during class hours without prior permission.
- Any interaction with teachers must be routed through the principal.
- Parents should pay school fees promptly as per the due dates.
- Regular updates regarding the student’s performance will be shared during parent-teacher meetings.
- Parents are requested to read and follow the school regulations carefully and ensure their children abide by them.
- Promotion is based on overall performance—examinations, assignments, attendance, and behavior.
- Final exams confirm the academic progress of the student but are not the sole criteria for promotion.
- Continuous assessments will be conducted to monitor academic development.
